We’ve ziplined through the trees with our clients, but until recently we’d never gotten down and dirty.
Let us explain…
In early May, Heron’s Eye did the Dirty Girl Mud Run 5k at Montage Mountain, in Scranton, PA with Team Kate of Lake Region Fitness, formed in honor of gym member Kate Carmody, who recently lost her battle with cancer. We were especially honored to have Kate’s husband Bob and their daughter Lindsey with us at the start & finish lines.
Heron’s Eye manages social media for Lake Region Fitness and several other retail and hospitality properties in and near the Hawley Silk Mill.
Our Co-Founder Krista Gromalski slogged through the mud with Lake Region Fitness Manager Gina Lecce and her team of more than 30 women. There were rope walls to climb, tunnels of mud to crawl through, fire to jump over, and lots of friendly mud slinging!
All the while, Co-Founder Sandy Long raced ahead of the team with her camera. We think she got the best workout!
We were proud to be a part of Team Kate. It was a fun day of mud & fitness for a great cause!
