Here’s what Heron’s Eye clients are saying:
Thank you for your attention to detail on the Scenic Rural Character Preservation Program’s 10th anniversary infographic. It’s a great piece of work!
Heron’s Eye Communications is an invaluable resource in our community. Not only do they connect people to people, and projects to projects, but their marketing and social media skills have helped NACL Theatre’s The Weather Project to reach our biggest audience yet.
What Sandy and Krista bring to their work is not just superior-quality writing and photography, but real commitment to the project itself. I cannot imagine any team working with more integrity, professionalism and creativity.
Krista served on the founding board of the Grey Towers Heritage Association when this new organization needed her creative expertise and vision to help brand itself and set a course for success as a supporting partner of the U.S. Forest Service. Heron’s Eye was key to the early success of the Heritage Association, right out of the gate.
Heron’s Eye Communications helped the Grey Towers Heritage Association launch as a new organization 10 years ago. Working with Krista and Sandy, we were able to create outreach materials to help brand our identity, and share our mission with the community. Today we successfully work to support the public programs at Grey Towers for thousands of visitors each year and we couldn’t have done it without the creative and intuitive skills of Heron’s Eye
There are so many wonderful things one can say about Heron’s Eye Communications. Thoughtful, mission-driven and passionate are just a few that come to mind. Sandy Long has an amazing eye for capturing the majesty of nature. Her photos are simply breathtaking and evoke so much emotion. It is an honor and a treat to follow the Heron’s Eye #WonderWatch series on Instagram.
The Heron’s Eye team was instrumental in conceptualizing and developing our annual report for Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Utilizing a magazine format, they partnered with our creative team at Fisher Mears Associates to deliver an outreach tool targeting our supporters and prospects to strengthen these key relationships. Through words and photographs, we successfully conveyed the compelling story of Bethel Woods’ positive impact on the region and its communities as well as our value as a significant cultural resource benefitting people in the surrounding region and beyond. Most impressive was the immersive approach and collaborative spirit of Heron’s Eye while working on a tight deadline to produce a beautiful publication.
I think of Sandy’s photography as expressing Mary Oliver’s poetry. She brings the spirit and beauty of nature to life.
We truly enjoy working with such talented and professional people. Their responsiveness and attention to every detail is amazing. They managed the redesign of our newsletter and provide invaluable advice and suggestions relating to content, making it far more enticing to read. Even our in-house process has been streamlined! We are thrilled with the results.
Heron’s Eye Communications has assisted PALTA in a variety of projects, lending not only keen writing and editing skills but a strong understanding in conservation issues. Their close connection to conservation efforts in their own region and deep appreciation of nature is what makes it possible for them to bring your organization’s conservation stories to life!
Heron’s Eye was a lucky find for the Northeastern Area Forest Legacy Program. Heron’s Eye produced our Forest Legacy Partner Guide; gave our substance creative style and continuity. The Forest Legacy Partner Guide is well-used as a result.
Working with Herons Eye is a pleasure. We’ve come through the Great Recession with growing strength, reaching out to an expanding customer base in ways that we did not understand before. Sandy Long of Heron’s Eye is a pleasure to work with. When preparing to produce the magazine, Sullivan Renaissance, we knew we needed someone who was reliable and skilled as a storyteller. But really, we required more than that: We needed someone who could bring knowledge, sensitivity and heart to the human stories we wanted to tell. Sandy delivered all of that and more. We’ll always be appreciative for the insightful professionalism that Sandy brought to the publication as a contributing writer.
Professional. Easy to work with. Accommodating. I love working with Heron’s Eye Communications!
